Depending on the version of Windows operating system and Internet Explorer, you may be faced with a different FTP user interface. Click on the link that most applies to you.

THE FTP INTERFACE:      

After you type in your login information, the FTP interface on the left side will open up in a new window. Notice that only the available documents are shown.

You may be able to use the drag-n-drop method to dowload and upload a file.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD A FILE:      

In order to download a file, right-click on the desired file and select Copy To Folder....

You may also be able to drag-n-drop the file from the ftp page to the destination folder.

"Browse For Folder" DIALOG BOX:      

After you select the Copy To Folder option, the "Browse For Folder" dialog box appears. Select the directory you would like to download the desired file to.

After selecting the destination directory, the download process starts.

UPLOADING A FILE:      

To upload a copy of a file, simply drag-n-drop (by depressing the left button of the mouse) the file from the directory it is currently in to the ftp page. The process starts automatically.

MOVING A FILE TO THE FTP PAGE:      

To move a file from your computer to the FTP page, drag-n-drop (by depressing the right button of the mouse). When you drop the file (release the depressed button), a menu with 3 options appears, as shown on the left. Select the Move Here option. The file will be moved to he FTP site.

Notice that the file will be completely removed from your computer.

BOOKMARKING THE FTP SITE:      

After accessing the FTP page successfully, you can bookmark the site to facilitate future access.

To bookmark, click on the Favorites button on the menu bar, the select Add To Favorites.... You will be prompted to select a destination folder. You may also provide a new name to the site. The dafault name is distributed-wireless.com

Next you need to access the FTP site, start Internet Explorer and click on the bookmark from the Favorites button.
