ProSite Explorer_TM is designed to run autonomously and ‘maintenance free’ on a corporate Intranet. It requires no special IT Administrative Support (beyond optional Firewall Access for external users).

Your Server fits side-by-side a corporate (Windows or Unix) Domain and broadcasts the database server. The system does not need any special configurations or security clearances. It does not logon to your domain, but simply broadcasts its database service.

Users can install the client application, which then automatically connects to the Server (using a built in Application Role). As we provide upgraded modules, the Server automatically distributes the updated client software to the Users.

Dial-Up RAS, VPN and firewalls are fully supported with this out-of-the-box solution.

Total Cost of Ownership usually runs at 10% hardware/software and 90% support. We sell the server hardware and the software to guarantee the solution (a pre-configured Windows, Linux or Unix computer with the SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL version of ProSite Explorer_TM installed).
